Five Arsenal players have point to prove to Mikel Arteta ahead of PSV

Arsenal take on PSV Eindhoven in the Europa League this evening and there are five players who have a point to prove to Mikel Arteta. A point will be enough to secure top spot in Group A for the Gunners. Express Sport looks at the players hoping to catch their manager’s eye.Cedric will need to get on the pitch first before he can send a message to Arteta. He hasn’t played a single minute of first-team action so far this season.A minor injury kept him out for a couple of weeks but he has mostly been fit and available. If Arteta chooses to rest Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu from the start, Cedric will have to grab his opportunity with both hands.Kieran TierneyTierney is likely to feature on the opposite side of defence. He has been left out of the last three Premier League starting XIs, with Tomiyasu preferred despite it not being his natural position.Tierney’s pride will have surely been dented by a right-back taking his spot in Oleksandr Zinchenko’s absence. He needs to prove why he should start against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.READ MORE: Chelsea boss Potter told he needs one signing to challenge for title Arsenal team news: Several players have a point to prove to Mikel Arteta (Image: GETTY)Lokonga complained last week about his lack of minutes.
