Fishermen rescued from raft after boat sank off Cornish coast

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

A pair of fisherman had to be dramatically rescued from a raft after their boat sank off the Cornish coast.

The unnamed men were out on a small boat called the Crig A Tana when they got into some distress off Lizard Point – and had to abandon ship.

The duo managed to send out a distress signal which was picked up by the coastguard in Falmouth.

A lifeboat crew from Lizard Point was then dispatched at just after 12.30pm on Saturday and after spotting a red flare, found the two men.
