 A 14-year-old boy who was stabbed to death in Manchester has been named and pictured for the first time. Nathaniel Shani tragically died after he was attacked in Harpurhey on Friday evening. Emergency services rushed to Tavistock Square shortly after 6pm and the teenager was taken to hospital but could not be saved. Another boy, also aged 14, was arrested on suspicion of murder and is being questioned by detectives in custody. Heartbroken friends have paid tribute to the youngster on social media and a GoFundMe page has been set up to help his family. Writing on the fundraiser last night, Gaynor Lang said: 'I've set up this GoFundMe for one my daughter's best friends who sadly had his life taken today at the young age of 14. 'He was a young, bright, kind and caring boy who was camera shy, hence the photo. This has left so many people heartbroken and I'm just trying to help his family at this hard time.' 'We offer our condolences to the family and friends, and our support in whatever way we can. 'The team is thinking and talking about ways in which we can support the young people immediately to process their grief and anger at this understandably emotional time.' Police said his next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by family liaison officers at 'this incredibly difficult time'.
