Amazon has rolled-out a free upgrade to Fire TV owners that promises a new look
Amazon has added a picture-perfect new feature to its Fire TV Omni series â the custom-designed 4K TVs that launched in the UK earlier this year, powered by the same FireOS software as Amazon’s Fire TV Stick range.
For the first time, a new range of art collections is available on all Fire TV Omni QLED sets, so anyone can switch on their TV and set it as a decorative background, wallpaper, or art gallery for their room.
If that sounds familiar, Samsung has a similar option with its (much pricier) The Frame TV, which is designed to look like a framed artwork whenever the screen is not in-use.
The only difference? The Fire TV Omni series sells at a price that The Frame by Samsung cannot match.
