Longtime film executive Mitchell Thomas Goldman has died at the age of 74 after a “long illness”.
He was best known for his work at New Line, where he helped found the distribution arm of the production company.
Variety reports he died at home in Los Angeles on November 7.
Throughout his 16-year tenure with the company, he oversaw the distribution of a number of big box office hits, including The Mask, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Nightmare on Elm Street, Boogie Nights and Rush Hour.
