And TNT Sports was making the most of its chance to shine on its debut as it provided interviews with the players and managers before the game. In one instance Ally McCoist and Jules Breach spoke to Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard in the entrance to the stadium. During the interview, the Norwegian insisted that the team would be using last season's "disappointment" to motivate them this season.
