Expendables director Scott Waugh has had his say on Sylvester Stallone’s apparent exit from the franchise.
The action icon, 77, has starred as Barney Ross since the first flick hit the big screen in 2010, leading a star-studded cast including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Jason Statham.
However, he left fans gutted when he announced his departure from the project in 2021, after the fourth film – aka Expend4bles – wrapped.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk ahead of the release, Scott Waugh touched on his bombshell, suggesting this won’t be the last time we see Barney on our screens.
