SHEFFIELD UNITED are weighing up a move for Nottingham Forest outcast Jonjo Shelvey.
The former Newcastle and Liverpool midfielder has been left out of the Forest party travelling to Spain next week for a pre-season training camp.
Shelvey, 31, only joined Steve Cooper’s side in January from Newcastle.
But he was left out of the squad for Forest’s final seven games of the season following a row about being left on the bench for the game against Liverpool.
While Forest are looking to move players on after their massive spree last year, Sheffield United are looking for recruits as they prepare for their return to the Premier League.
