Over 1,100 players were released from their teams after training camp as the franchises made their final changes ahead of the new NFL season next week
The NFL is now just over a week away from returning after seven long months since the Super Bowl.
This week, NFL teams had to whittle down their roster from 90 to just 53, with over 1,100 players released from their teams – featuring some surprising names. While it might be the end of the road many of these names, around 400 will hope to make it onto a practice squad, or even signed by another team ahead of next Thursday’s opener.
While teams 53-man roster are now final, it will always be a fluid situation with playing being waived weekly – hoping to impress on practice squads. Below is every player who was released on Tuesday’s deadline – as some will hope to be picked up by other teams…
