The 21-year-old was involved in the first team last season under Erik ten Hag, making 26 appearances in all competitions, but he was no a regular in the starting XI. Elanga made just five Premier League starts and one in United's Europa League campaign, largely having to make do with late run-outs from the substitutes' bench. There remains great competition in the United front three from the likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo, while the Red Devils are trying to buy a new striker this summer as well. Elanga would certainly be more likely to get regular game time at Goodison Park, but Manchester United will now decide whether they want to sell a player who has been at the club since 2014.
