Erik ten Hag’s Man Utd “nightmare” comes true as Bayern Munich dig backfires

Manchester United are enduring an awful run under Erik ten Hag and will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they face Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday evening

Manchester United endured another miserable result on Wednesday night – as Bayern Munich won 4-3 at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern established a two-goal lead at half-time thanks to Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry before Rasmus Hojlund scored his first goal for United. Harry Kane then made it 3-1 from the penalty spot before from Mathys Tel’s strike and Casemiro’s late brace.

United have now lost three consecutive games to Tottenham, Brighton and Bayern. Their latest defeat in the Champions League has placed more pressure on Erik ten Hag’s shoulders, with the Dutchman hoping a victory will come sooner rather than later.
