But the fact that Ten Hag opted to sign an injured Hojlund only speaks to the confidence that the Dutchman has in the forward's ability. United struggled with a combination of Cristiano Ronaldo, an injury-ravaged Anthony Martial and a cumbersome Wout Weghorst in attack last term. But Ten Hag says Hojlund's arrival can help United play a more 'proactive' style of play. 'I am also very pleased to have signed Rasmus Hojlund because he can make a real difference to the way we attack,' Ten Hag wrote in his programme notes ahead of the game against Wolves. 'Fundamentally, we want to be a proactive, hungry team, constantly causing problems for the opposition with or without the ball.
