What does he have in store when she gets back? Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, he said: "There's a lot more to come for Marlon, Rhona and her story with her ex-husband Gus. It's going to be dramatic, and I think for the audience it's going to test their moral compass. "I think people might land on either side of it – and I think it's going to be one of those really intriguing stories that goes on for quite a while. Zoe and I are looking forward to it. It's going to be a really juicy storyline." The soap's executive producer Jane Hudson previously teased there was a "long way to go" with the Rhona and Gus storyline. "There is a long way to go with that story. It's one of those stories that when you think it's ended, it probably hasn't. It's a fascinating story and I think Zoe is a brilliant actress. We always want to find the next big story and I think this is Rhona's next big story. It's going to be one that really captures the viewers," she explained of what's to come in the storyline. Gus had made his return to ask his ex Rhona for her help. He revealed to her he was in a new relationship and wanted to have kids with his new partner but they weren't able to.
