Emmerdale’s Gus Malcolm, previously played by Alan McKenna, is set to make a ‘dramatic’ return to the ITV soap, causing havoc for his ex-wife Rhona, played by Zoe Henry
Gus Malcolm will make a “dramatic” return on Emmerdale soon, causing havoc for his ex-wife Rhona.
Mark Charnock â who plays Marlon Dingle on the ITV soap â has opened up about a return for Gus and how it will affect Marlon and Rhona (Zoe Henry) into the future. Bosses have always teased Gus will be back, but now Mark has opened up about that storyline.
Rhona’s passport is still missing â which she believed was taken by her mum Mary’s ex Faye â but fans are convinced Gus has something to do with the missing item. What does he have in store when she gets back? Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, he said: “There’s a lot more to come for Marlon, Rhona and her story with her ex-husband Gus. It’s going to be dramatic, and I think for the audience it’s going to test their moral compass.
“I think people might land on either side of it â and I think it’s going to be one of those really intriguing stories that goes on for quite a while. Zoe and I are looking forward to it. It’s going to be a really juicy storyline.”
