Since her TV stint, Kelli moved to Thailand and has now revealed her horror after the car she used to own when she lived in the UK has been caught up in a kerb crawling scandal. The 46 year old actress has claimed it is a case of mistaken identity after the Police issued her with a letter warning her to stop such activity after the vehicle was spotted in Newham, Greater London. The letter also suggested Kelli would be fined or arrested if the vehicle was caught in such activity again. Kelli has revealed in a new TikTok video that she sold the car to a friend upon her move to South East Asia but that the new owner failed to register any new documentation for the car. Explaining how there had been other such incidents, Kelli detailed the bizarre occurrence in a video. The former Emmerdale star said: "Just before I left for Thailand I let my friend use my car because they wanted to go somewhere, they had no brakes or M.O.T, so it was pretty dangerous for them to drive their car. "Begrudgingly I lent them my car and when I decided to go to Thailand for definite, I just said 'why don't you buy the car off me?" Revealing that she informed her friend of the process they needed to do in order to make them the registered owner of the car as opposed to her, mother-of-two Kelli said: "So when I was in Thailand they transferred me the money and reassured me, as I had no access to the log book.
