Faye fooled Mary into believing they were in love, and then conned Mary into thinking Faye ran a women's refuge in Ecuador that desperately needed donations. Kind-hearted Mary dug deep in her pockets and handed over a wad of cash, while also wracking up money from the village through a fundraiser. But when the money landed in her account, Faye cruelly revealed the twist in their love tale and made off with the dosh. Faye shoved Mary, who hit her head and lay bleeding as Faye made a run for it.
