Emmerdale aired a twist amid three characters fleeing the village on Thursday night, resulting in the same three characters heading back in emotional scenes.
Dan Spencer, daughter Amelia Spencer and her baby daughter Esther made their exit from the village in the latest episode, plotting to escape to Ireland. The trio went on the run amid Dan’s trouble with the law, with him facing a long stint in prison over a recent death.
The character who has been on the soap for 12 years faces time behind bars after accidentally killing someone. Dan attacked Lloyd, after he began harassing his teen daughter. Lloyd had subscribed to Amelia’s social media channel, before tracking her down and demanding time with her.
Dan ended up punching Lloyd as he goaded him, and Lloyd suffered severe head injuries. Recently the character died on the ITV soap, and Dan learned his charge was now manslaughter.
