Elon Musk has urged Americans to vote for a Republican-controlled Congress as they head to the polls for the midterm elections on Tuesday.
Mr Musk, the chief executive of Twitter, said “independent-minded” voters would determine the new balance of power on Capitol Hill and pressed them to deliver a check on Joe Biden’s mandate.
It came amid growing Republican optimism that the party could seize control of both chambers of Congress.
