Elon Musk suggests Bronny James’ cardiac arrest is linked to Covid vaccine

The world’s richest man has tweeted after Bronny James’ cardiac arrest on Monday suggesting the Covid vaccine could be a factor, adding that myocarditis is a “known side-effect”

Twitter, Tesla and Space X owner Elon Musk has suggested the Covid vaccine could be linked to LeBron James’ son suffering a cardiac arrest.

Bronny James had been practicing with his new USC teammates when he collapsed on the court on Monday before he was rushed to a nearby hospital. The 18-year-0ld is now in a sable condition and is not in the intensive care unit. In response to a tweet of the news, the world’s richest man, Musk, tweeted: “We cannot ascribe everything to the vaccine, but, by the same token, we cannot ascribe nothing. Myocarditis is a known side-effect. The only question is whether it is rare or common.

Myocarditis is an inflammation of the heart muscle, which can cause a fast or irregular heartbeat, which can lead to cardiac arrest. Despite Musk’s claim, CDC data stated there were 635 cases of myocarditis diagnosed out of the 54.8 million doses of the mRNA vaccine given to children between the ages of 5 and 17, with the data coming from May 2022.

The CDC has said: “Any health problem that happens after vaccination is considered an adverse event. An adverse event can be caused by the vaccine or can be caused by a coincidental event not related to the vaccine.” LeBron James has previously stated he and his family have had the vaccine.
