Eddie Jones: All Blacks won’t bully us – we want to light up Twickenham

Eddie Jones has told the All Blacks that England will not be bullied on Saturday as he challenged his side to “light up” Twickenham.

Jones, the England head coach, wants his players to hunt down New Zealand with the sort of physicality they showed the last time the sides met in the 2019 World Cup semi-final.

He has replicated his selection for that match, which England won 19-7, by moving Maro Itoje to the second row and picking two dynamic flankers.

Sam Simmonds, usually a No 8 at Exeter Chiefs, will wear No 6 and join a back-row with Billy Vunipola and open-side flanker Tom Curry, who played with Sam Underhill three years ago when Jones labelled them the “Kamikaze Kids”.
