Ed Sheeran has taken up acting as he stars as a homeless drug addict in a surprise cameo in new comedy film Sumotherhood
Ed Sheeran has showed off his wild new look as he plays a homeless drug addict in his latest acting role.
The singing sensation is set to make a surprise cameo in new comedy movie Sumotherhood. The 32-year-old featured in the trailer for the new film, with the description describing the movie as “a parody of the UK urban genre”.
He has made a move to acting as he takes on the role of a homeless drug addict and can be heard saying: “Oi oi what you saying.” It’s unknown how big a role Ed will play in the film but it will be a rare look at him playing someone other than himself.
A source told The Sun : ‘”Ed plays this bloke who’s not got a home and looks like a crack addict. It was filmed a while ago, but work on the movie is almost complete and the hope is it will be out this year.
