Traffic had to be stopped in Bucks anticlockwise between J16 and J15 (M40-M4), as well as anticlockwise between J29 (for the A127) and J28 (for the A12).At 7.30am, Essex Police said they arrested a woman attempting to climb a gantry approximately 1.5miles before J28 on the M25 clockwise track.One lane was closed for a short time as officers responded to the situation. All lanes between junctions 28 and 29 are now open.Surrey Police said officers are also dealing with activists who climbed a gantry at Junction 8 of the UK’s busiest motorway. Traffic has stopped in both directions.The force tweeted: “Officers are on scene and dealing with activists who have climbed the gantry at Junction 8 on the M25. The road has been closed anti-clockwise.”Earlier, Metropolitan Police said: “We’re ready to respond to any criminality on the #M25 again today and will work quickly to minimise disruption and keep traffic moving.”In turn, Just Stop Oil responded from their Twitter account by replying: “We’re ready to keep going until the Government ends new oil and gas.”
