However, eagle-eyed EastEnders viewers spotted that she was still wearing nail polish as she was taken to the operating room.
The character portrayed by Danielle Harold was diagnosed with a brain tumour in earlier episodes of the long-running drama.
Doctors warned her she had to stay in hospital until the day of her operation.
Thankfully for her, Lola wasn’t alone as her partner Jay Brown (played by Jamie Borthwick) spent time with her prior to the surgery.
