EastEnders star Tony Discipline now juggling two normal jobs 10 years after soap exit

34-year-old actor former EastEnders star Tony Discipline is working as a firefighter and barman after quitting the soap back in 2013

Former EastEnders actor Tony Discipline has a completely new life outside of the spotlight ten years after leaving Albert Square.

The former BBC star played Alfie Moon’s cousin Tyler Moon from 2011 until 2013, but has since decided to leave the small screen behind him. The 34-year-old actor is now working as both a firefighter and barman.

During his two years stint on the show, the actor was at the centre of dramatic storylines – but his most memorable ones included his on-and-off relationship with Whitney Dean, played by Shona McGarty, and nearly suffering a fatal seizure after a boxing match.

Tony admits he couldn’t be happier in his new job. Opening up about working as a firefighter, the former soap star told The Sun: “I love it. Every day is different and you feel you’re helping your community. I love it,”
