Melissa Suffield, who played Lucy Beale on EastEnders, has been a huge supporter of body positivity on social media, and regularly shares candid snaps and videos celebrating womens’ bodies
Former EastEnders star Melissa Suffield celebrated her “wobbly body” in an empowering unfiltered clip on social media.
The 30-year-old, who welcomed son River in 2020, regularly shares unedited snaps and clips on Instagram as she promotes the message of body positivity. And in her most recent post on Friday, Melissa uploaded a feel-good video of herself dancing around in her lingerie on her bed.
“13 seconds of a body wobbling, to remind you that a wobbly body is totally NORMAL. We spend so long picking ourselves apart, and it feels so *lonely*, we start to think we’re the only ones who look a certain way,” the actress, who played Lucy Beale on EastEnders, wrote. “In fact, there’s SO many other bodies like ours- we’re actually pretty damn ordinary! So, this is 13 seconds to remind you just how normal your body is. And how WONDERFUL that is. What’s your favourite wobbly bit? Let’s hear ’em! And then let’s CELEBRATE them.”
Her followers were overjoyed with the candid post, and many took to the comments to share their own thoughts about their “wobbly” bodies. “This is excellent . Lets normalise that our body’s can jiggle and still be hottttttt,” one wrote. “I don’t know a body that doesn’t jiggle like a Christmas bauble,” another joked. “There isn’t a single part of my body that doesn’t jiggle. Actually I tell a lie, my toes don’t, my jiggles remind me of the amazing process my body made to grow my 3 beautiful boys,” one fan added.
