 Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) is reminded of her old feelings for Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) in upcoming EastEnders episodes as she discovers the news that he might have cancer. Alfie eventually decided to head to the hospital after a chat with Phil (Steve McFadden), who said that he'd be getting his prostate checked as his dad died after a prostate cancer diagnosis. Prior to Kat's discovery about her ex's health, she will learn that Alfie and Phil have secretly been trying to handle Tommy's (Sonny Kendall) anger issues by taking him to the Boxing Den. Kat is utterly horrified and when Phil reveals that Alfie should be getting the cancer results today, she chooses to drop everything just so she can be with him at the hospital. Back at home, Kat and Phil row about his lies, but what does this mean for their relationship?
