Following the loss of her dream honeymoon, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) was horrified to learn that Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) would be going on the Greek cruise instead of her. As Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) attempted to teach her Greek in the café, Kathy's blood boiled, believing them to be rubbing it in. However, after a little bit of eavesdropping, she realised that Suki had been kept completely in the dark about the origins of her 'romantic holiday'. Seeing as it was Rocky Cotton's (Brian Conley) fault that they were in this mess at all, she demanded that he reveal all to unsuspecting Suki, something which he found himself unable to do. Exasperated, Kathy broke the news herself, leaving Suki speechless. Kathy revealed the truth to a shocked Suki (Picture: BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron) Despite her initial smugness, it soon became clear that Kathy felt bad about dropping the bombshell, and later went to see Suki, pointing out that she probably needed a listening ear to rant to. Pulling out a bottle of wine, Kathy explained how she couldn't watch Suki being lied to, and was there if she needed to rant. She revealed that she knew exactly how Suki was feeling, and that, as the victims of the situation, they should stick together.
