Samantha Womack has said that she feels “blessed” to have returned to work following recent cancer treatment, after sharing her diagnosis just a few months ago.
The actor, 50, revealed in August that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, sharing the news following the death of Olivia Newton-John, who had cancer herself.
She has since undergone an operation and subsequently began chemotherapy, having shared updates about such treatment with fans on social media over recent weeks.
Samantha – known for having played Ronnie Mitchell on EastEnders, until her departure in 2017 – is understood to have now returned to work following some time off.
