 EastEnders will not air a new episode this evening (Monday, August 21). The BBC One soap, which usually broadcast new episodes Mondays to Thursdays, is absent from TV schedules tonight. The reason being to make way for coverage of the World Athletics Championships, which will air in the serial drama's usual slot, kicking off from 7:30pm. If, like many, you're absolutely devastated at the thought of not getting your daily EastEnders fix – especially since the show is currently on top of its game – then you needn't fret as the offering of the soap intended to air on Monday is now available to stream on BBC iPlayer. And having already seen the episode in question, Metro.co.uk can confirm that it's one not to be missed. If you prefer to watch EastEnders on the telly, however, then you'll have to wait until Tuesday (August 22), when you will be treated to not one but two editions of the soap.
