EastEnders’ favourite quits after three years as dramatic exit aired tonight

EastEnders actor Jaz Deol played the Panesar’s eldest sibling in the BBC soap, but Kheerat’s exit was aired in emotional final scenes tonight

EastEnders actor Jaz Deol’s exit from the BBC soap has been confirmed, as his final scenes as Kheerat Panesar aired tonight.

The 33-year-old soap actor first entered Albert Square as Kheerat three years ago – making a big impression on both its residents and viewers of the programme.

But Kheerat’s final scenes aired on Thursday evening as he was seen being escorted away from Albert Square and his family in handcuffs by police.

In the episode, the eldest of the Panesar siblings confessed to murdering Ranveer Gulati, who was actually killed by Ravi Gulati, in a bid to stop his mum from going down for the crime.
