As the cameras panned back on Eamonn and Isabel after the morning weather report, viewers could see Eamonn standing up behind his desk as he beckoned the cameras to come closer. Eamonn could be heard telling viewers at home: "The reason I'm standing up here, is we've had a viewer complaint," before his co-presenter burst into laughter. As it turned out, Ruth had complained about a crew member who was seen on-screen adjusting Eamonn's chair. "Right, Maria, you lower my chair without me falling off and killing myself. But the reason we're doing this is because a viewer complained." After his admission, Isabel questioned Eamonn on who made the complaint before he confessed that his wife Ruth had been mocking him about the position and height of his seat while presenting the morning show. "Her name's Ms Ruth Langsford. And she's phoned in to say she doesn't like the position of my seat. If I fall off.... is it alright? I don't know. Push me in, Maria. See people think these things happen easily. Is that okay, Ms Langsford? Is that okay?" Eamonn joked.
