EA FC 24 cross-platform explained – transfer market, Clubs and crossplay modes confirmed

EA Sports has implemented even more ways to use crossplay in EA FC 24 after getting some backlash for its implementation in FIFA 23

EA FC 24 is arriving this week, and the new game is more cross-platform than ever before.

Crossplay is a feature that players had been begging EA Sports to introduce into its games, and in FIFA 23 we finally saw crossplay added, meaning players on different platforms could play each other in-game. Not only could players on different platforms play each other, but the Ultimate Team transfer market was shared between platforms for the first time, with Xbox and PlayStation all sharing the same transfer market whilst PC remained separate.

Despite the addition of crossplay in FIFA 23, fans were left frustrated when Pro Clubs (now named Clubs), the most social game mode, did not receive cross-platform play. But, EA confirmed a few months ago that Clubs will receive crossplay in EA FC 24, making this one of the most anticipated football games released by EA ever.

Ahead of the EA FC 24 launch, rumours circulated about a shared transfer market between console and PC in Ultimate Team, though EA confirmed to Mirror Gaming that these rumours were false and that the transfer markets would remain the way they were.
