More news about EA FC 24 is starting to be revealed by EA Sports, including the cover star
The EA FC 24 standard edition cover has been officially unveiled by EA Sports, with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland replacing Kylian Mbappe and Sam Kerr as the face of the game.
EA Sports is finally giving us more details about EA FC 24, the first instalment of the publisher’s new game series, EA Sports FC. Replacing the FIFA franchise, EA has opted to change its cover star for the first time since FIFA 21, with Man City striker Haaland now the new face of the game.
Mbappe became the poster boy for EA in FIFA 21, appearing on three-consecutive covers, including FIFA 23 where the Frenchman shared the cover with Chelsea Women’s striker Kerr. Unlike Mbappe, Kerr is still involved, with the Australian being one of the 31 athletes who join Haaland on the Ultimate Edition cover.
The Ultimate Edition cover received a mixed reception from the public, with many loving the idea but questioning the final product, with a few players’ EA FC 24 avatars not looking like themselves. But, EA has used a real image of Haaland for the Standard Edition, and it’s a clean-looking cover.
