Dusan Vlahovic is open to the prospect of leaving Juventus for Chelsea this summer, according to reports. The 23-year-old striker has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge as Mauricio Pochettino eyes further attacking firepower in his maiden transfer window as head coach. Chelsea are set to go into the 2023/24 season with a new-look front line after a flurry of early transfer dealings. Kai Havertz and Mason Mount have left for Arsenal and Manchester United, respectively, for a combined £125million. Meanwhile, Christopher Nkunku has joined in a £52m deal, and Nicolas Jackson has completed a £32m switch from Villarreal. But Pochettino’s attacking recruitment might not be done there, with Italian reports claiming Chelsea are ready to ‘lunge’ for Vlahovic. And the Serbia international is said to be interested in a potential move to west London in the coming weeks. According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla , Vlahovic likes the Blues but hasn’t directly discussed a transfer. Chelsea could move for Dusan Vlahovic. Juventus are reportedly looking to offload several players this summer to balance the books after missing out on Champions League football. And Vlahovic is said to be open to a new challenge after scoring just 14 goals in a troublesome 2022/23 campaign. Whether Chelsea, without European football next term, can lure him to Stamford Bridge if they face competition from clubs playing in the Champions League remains to be seen.
