"However, I think now is the right time, I feel that it is not only for me but also the best for the club to have a new start. "The time I've had at Ajax and the successes I've been able to experience are indescribable feelings that I've never experienced before in my career, so I want to thank all the fans for the fantastic time I've had here." Tadic then revealed that he would like to return to the club as a coach in the future, adding: "As far as I'm concerned, this is not a final farewell, I will always remain an Ajax player and hope to return to Amsterdam in a different role in the near future, as a trainer." The forward is yet to find a new club, but Manchester United fans are convinced that Erik ten Hag will attempt to sign him this summer. One person tweeted: "Why do I have a feeling Ten Hag is going to want Tadic." Another added: " Van De Beek out, Tadic In. Who says No?" While a third wrote: "He'd be a good backup for Bruno if we sell Donny and Fred ."
