Dr Michael Mosley says ‘everyone in the UK’ should be taking this key supplement

Supermarket shelves are jam-packed with essential supplements, from protein powders to probiotics, making it difficult to work out which vitamins are vital for our bodies.

To make things a little easier, Dr Michael Mosley has revealed the one nutrient that he says “almost everyone in the UK” should be taking – and it’s not vitamin C.

During a recent Q&A session on Mumsnet, the TV doctor outlined the one supplement that should definitely be added to your medical cabinet.

He responded to a question on the forum, which read: “Is there a need to take supplements, or is it possible to get all necessary vitamins and minerals from one’s diet, and still keep a healthy weight?”
