Donald Trump warns he may be indicted in Georgia interference case

Donald Trump said he believed he would soon be indicted in a criminal inquiry into election interference in the state of Georgia.

Trump, 77, addressed a rally of supporters in New Hampshire on Tuesday, telling them “we will not play prevent defence” on the growing list of criminal charges he now faces. After the speech his campaign emailed supporters, telling them that more charges could come at any moment, in what would be a fourth criminal case this year.

“I’ve been briefed on reports that Atlanta has begun setting up security barricades, shutting down roads surrounding the courthouse, and the grand jury is expected to reconvene,” Trump said. “All signs indicate that your favourite president – whose only offence is challenging the political ruling
