Donald Trump court cases should ‘disqualify’ him from impending US President race

Donald Trump is facing a ‘drip drip drip’ of civil and criminal court cases against him but still leads the pack of Republicans hoping to clinch the nominee to lead the party into the 2024 election

The steady stream of criminal and civil court cases against the former-President Donald Trump would be a “political career execution” if he was a “normal guy”, an expert has told The Mirror.

This comes as Trump leads the race to become the Republican nominee. He also appeared in a New York Court as part of a civil case against him accusing him of fraud. The latest lawsuit that could cost him control of Trump Tower and other prized properties.

With the backdrop of these ongoing court cases, Grant Reeher, director of the Campbell Public Affairs Institute and a professor of political science at Syracuse University, spoke to The Mirror about how the controversial politician is still leading the pack.
