Former President Donald Trump has branded his potential rival for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024 as ‘Ron DeSanctimonious’. Trump is expected to announce his candidacy later this month
Amid speculation he will soon announce his 2024 run for president, Donald Trump has branded potential opponent Ron DeSantis with a cruel nickname.
Dubbing the Republican governor of Florida ‘Ron DeSanctimonious’ at a rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, it was a move typical of the former president prone to giving his opponents names.
New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman said on Twitter that Trump had started testing the nickname out on people in the last two weeks, before debuting it at the rally.
Last week, it was reported by Axios that Trump would announce his 2024 run on November 14, just six days after the crucial November 8 midterms.
