Donald Trump appears set to be charged with conspiracy to commit forgery by Georgia state prosecutors, reuters has reported.
The state appears set to charge the former president with a variety of charges, including racketeering, conspiracy and false statements, according to a two-page docket report posted to the Fulton County court’s website.
The full details of the charges have not been verified by representatives for the county.
For two and a-half years, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has been investigating actions taken by Trump and others in their efforts to overturn his narrow loss in Georgia to Democrat Joe Biden.
