Dog owner sells car to help pay for chihuahua’s £17,500 life-saving surgery

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Jac Williams, 54, went to extreme lengths when her beloved pet needed surgery to stay alive.

Any pet owner will tell you that they’d do absolutely anything for their little pal, and Jac was no different.

Her chihuahua Louie, now 10, was diagnosed with mitral valve disease in 2020, and Jac flogged her two-year-old car – and dipped into her inheritance – for the funds to keep him alive.

She sold her Nissan Qashqai for around £15,000 so Louie could go under the knife, with the surgery needed to keep him alive costing an eye-watering total of £17,500.
