Police were called to Pittsburgh International Airport early Friday morning after a dog was found alone in a stroller on airport property
A woman who tried to jet off to a holiday resort with her French Bulldog reportedly ended up dumping the pooch in a parking lot when staff refused to let the canine on board, officials say.
The poor dog was “found unattended in a stroller” at the Pittsburgh International Airport on Friday morning at 5:30 a.m, the Allegheny County Police Department tweeted.
The passenger had been told she would need a crate for her dog in order to fly with it, police said. But instead, the dog was reportedly found dumped “near short-term parking as the woman proceeded to board a flight,” police claimed.
