The in-depth family-friendly show will include ten galleries worth of rare artwork and memorabilia from The Walt Disney Archives.
Fans of Mickey Mouse and his friends will have a chance to see some of the highlights from Walt Disney’s vaults and even take a virtual walk down Main Street in Disneyland as part of a new exhibition aimed at fans of the iconic animation house.
A huge exhibition four years in the making, Disney100 will take over 20,000-square-feet of the ExCel’s exhibition space in London, with ten large, themed galleries packed with rarely seen historical and special treasures including interactive installations, art, costumes, props and other unique memorabilia on display in the UK for the first time.
The exhibition will open on October 13 in time for the official 100th anniversary of Disney three days later and run into 2024. The first tickets for the event have already gone on sale, with fans who book to visit for the official anniversary on October 16th able to enjoy an extended opening to 9pm, VIP tickets and other perks.
