NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
Apple has always gone big on its messaging surrounding privacy but a new report has revealed the tech giant might have broken its own privacy rules.
Last week, a Twitter account run by a pair of iOS developers in Canada and Germany, posted a thread detailing lapses on iOS 14.6 that they believed ‘should raise many privacy concerns’.
The developers accused the iPhone maker of sending every tap made in the App Store to Apple.
They went on to claim that the data was shared with Apple even when users had turned off the option for analytics sharing and personalised recommendations.
