Demands of footballers and families in Qatar explained by man looking after them

QATAR WORLD CUP: Players involved in the iconic tournament have been ensuring their loved ones are well looked after in Qatar whilst Premier League stars not involved are eyeing trips from neighbouring Dubai to watch friends in action

As millions from all corners of the globe flock to the Middle East for the 2022 World Cup, Yohanes Zewdu struggles to contain his excitement.

“The anticipation is unreal,” he says. “The biggest and most iconic tournament is coming here – and you feel it. The only thing missing is the fans arriving, and I think once they get here it’s going to complete it.”

Zewdu, known as ‘Johnny Vegas’, has been preparing for this moment for months, spending countless hours becoming an expert on Qatar in order to cater the needs of old and new clients. In recent years, he has become a go-to man for footballers and their families enjoying lavish holidays and he previously told his remarkable story in a wide-ranging interview with Mirror Football.

A business which started in Las Vegas has taken him to the Middle East, focusing his efforts on Dubai, before turning his attentions to the World Cup in Qatar. Given Dubai remains a key hub for his businesses, Kloudout and Koob Travel, the next month will see his worlds collide.
