Delta Airlines is set to make changes to their popular lounges which have seen overcrowding at popular destinations such as JKF Airport and Atlanta International Airport
Popular American airline Delta Airlines is changing how customers spend their time before they board in a move that’s going to be unpopular for anyone flying economy.
As part of a range of changes being brought in by the airline, customers who book a basic economy ticket will no longer be allowed in Delta’s lounges. This is set to come into effect from January 1, 2024, and entry for economy ticket holders will be refused even if they carry a Platinum Card or any other premium credit card which would still allow business and first-class flyers entry.
The Atlanta-based airline is set to change how customers gain entry to its Sky Club and earn elite frequent flyer status in 2025. Currently, American Express Platinum and Platinum Business cardholders get unlimited visits.
