‘Dejected’ Donald Trump left in ‘sour’ mood over way judge addressed him in court

Donald Trump left his arraignment on Thursday, facing charges related to attempting to overturn the 2020 election, and appeared “irked” after facing the judge in Washington, Dc

Donald Trump was left in a “sour” mood after his arraignment according to sources as the former president stood before a judge to be indicted for a third time in four months.

Trump was reportedly “irked” by the magistrate judge presiding over his arraignment referring to him as Mr Trump rather than Mr President, sources have said. The 77-year-old was indicted in Washington DC on four counts related to attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.

Following the arraignment on Thursday, August 3, Trump made a brief statement to the reporters from the tarmac at Reagan Airport before leaving without taking any questions. According to CNN host Kaitlan Collins, Trump left in a “sour and dejected mood”.

“He was, quote, ‘p***ed off’, according to someone who spoke to him,” she said.
