The weapons expert on the film set in New Mexico where a cinematographer was accidentally shot dead by Alec Baldwin will stand trial in December.
Hannah Gutierrez Reed, the rookie armourer on the low-budget western film Rust, has entered not guilty pleas to charges of involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
If convicted, the 25-year-old faces up to three years in prison.
State District Judge Mary Sommer has set a trial date, with jury selection scheduled for December 5.
Gutierrez Reed was in charge of weapons on the set of Rust near Santa Fe when a gun held by Baldwin discharged, killing 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October 2021.
