Gary Lineker looked very dapper at Wimbledon yesterday – but he didn’t arrive alone. The Match of the Day host appeared in the sunshine outside of the courts in a grey suit with plaid grey tie and large dark sunglasses, keeping his iconic slicked back in the wind. The 62-year-old was joined by former stepdaughter Ella Willis, the daughter of his ex-wife Danielle Bux, who made a surprise appearance in a jaw-dropping pink sheer and lace dress. She accessorised the summery dress with small golden chain, brown handbag, stand-out white sunglasses and had ditched her usual blonde locks for a dark brunette look. The unexpected duo seemed gleeful as they headed into the iconic Wimbledon court yesterday for day four of the tournament. Although she didn’t make a courtside appearance, Ella’s Los Angeles-based mother is believed to be in London at the moment, having shared her adventures at the Tate Britain yesterday on Instagram . The trio have shared a few reunions over the years, the most recent being in December last year as part of their annual Christmas dinner together. Following their split, Danielle relocated to Los Angeles to further her acting career and married American lawyer Matt Greenwald. In February 2017, the 44-year-old revealed that Ella would no longer be an only child as she was expecting a baby girl with Nate. Earlier this year, the Match of the Day host revealed the catalyst behind his split from the Welsh model had actually been their opinions on having children. Gary, who has four adult sons with his first wife Michelle Cockayne, told The Mid-Point podcast that Danielle’s ‘body clock started ticking’ but he didn’t want anymore children. He added: ‘In the end, we decided to stay mates and see if she can find someone that really does want another child. ‘That happened and he is a really good friend of mine now.’
