The actress was holidaying with friends in Ibiza while recovering from her recent breast surgery, but she was stopped at the airport when her passport threw up a warning to staff. In 2018, Danniella was arrested and detained for 14 hours by police in Spain, later being convicted of fraud for failing to pay for £39 of petrol. The actress recalled driving to Benidorm to see a mate but not having any money to pay for the petrol she filled her car with. She handed her driving licence and a copy of her passport to the staff member but didn't return to pay the next day, and 'couldn't remember where the petrol station was anyway.' The issue remained unresolved and as a result, it was flagged up at passport control last week, which left the Sam Mitchell star panicking that she would be going to prison.
