Dalglish had been the last man before Klopp to lead Liverpool to the summit of English football and paid tribute to the current manager. He said: "I'd just like to say, Jurgen, I know you won't have understood a word that I have said to you. Being a Liverpool fan and being fortunate enough to work at the club, danke schon." Dalglish has also previously been bestowed with the same honour now afforded to the current Liverpool boss. Klopp's passion has resonate with the people of Liverpool and his animated celebrations in front of the Kop have become common practice during a period of huge success for the Reds. When asked if he felt like a Scouser, Klopp said: 'It is not for me to say that but I feel like that and over the years you realise that the Scouse people and us as a family have a lot of things in common. "We care about similar things, have similar political views and we like to be very open, that's how it is. All people around me, my friends and family, see more of the city than I do and I hear always that they enjoy it exactly because of that; because people are really open, nice, kind and friendly.
